Full-service garden design

Every stage of your garden, planned before the first spade goes in

We plan and build outdoor spaces for Ukrainian weather: layouts that drain through the spring melt, planting that keeps its shape through a hot July, and paving that survives a hard frost. You leave with drawings, a planting list and a seasonal maintenance calendar.

  1. Site survey and garden layout drawings, measured to your plot and your budget.
  2. Planting schemes built on hardy, low-water species such as lavender, hydrangea and ornamental grasses.
  3. Pathways, terraces and garden lighting with materials and quantities specified.

What each service includes

Every plan is drawn for cold winters and dry summers. Here are the four services we deliver, what you receive at the end of each, and which plots they suit.

  1. 01

    Garden layout and master plan

We survey the plot, record sun, wind and drainage, then zone lawn, borders, vegetable beds and seating. You get a scaled drawing any contractor can build from.

    Deliverables
Site survey, scaled layout drawing, drainage notes, planting zones
    Suits
New builds, neglected plots, full redesigns from 4 sotky
  2. 02

    Planting schemes

Species are chosen for the local climate: lavender, hydrangea and ornamental grasses carry the borders, with evergreens holding shape through winter.

    Deliverables
Planting plan with quantities, season colour calendar, soil preparation brief
    Suits
Bare borders, replacements after a hard winter, low-water gardens
  3. 03

    Pathways, paving and irrigation

We set out routes people actually walk, specify frost-resistant paving and run drip lines to the beds that need them most.

    Deliverables
Path layout, material specification, irrigation zoning, lighting points
    Suits
Sloped plots, heavy clay soil, gardens with an outdoor kitchen
  4. 04

    Seasonal maintenance plan

A month-by-month calendar for pruning, feeding, mulching and winter protection, written so you or your gardener can follow it without us.

    Deliverables
Task calendar, pruning guide, winter protection checklist, aftercare visit schedule
    Suits
Established gardens, owners who travel, self-managed plots

Not sure which scope fits? Send us your plot details and we will recommend the smallest plan that solves the problem.

Our working method

Five stages, from the first walk-through to aftercare

Each stage closes with something you can read, review or walk on. Nothing moves forward until you approve it, and the price band is restated at every handover point.

  1. Stage 01

    Site visit and brief

We walk the plot with you, note sun exposure through the day, soil type, slope and where water sits after rain, then talk about how the garden should actually be used.

You receiveA written brief, a measured site plan and an indicative budget band.

  2. Stage 02

    Garden concept and planting direction

Two layout options with zoning, path lines and planting character. We favour species that cope with Ukrainian winters and dry summers, so irrigation stays modest.

You receiveTwo concept layouts, mood boards and a plant palette of lavender, hydrangea and ornamental grasses.

  3. Stage 03

Working drawings and a fixed quote

Once a direction is chosen we detail paving levels, drainage, lighting runs and planting quantities. Materials are priced line by line, with no open allowances.

You receiveA drawing set, a specification list and a fixed quote with an itemised schedule.

  4. Stage 04

    Construction and planting

One crew lead stays with your project from groundworks to the last shrub. We stage noisy work around your calendar and photograph each phase as it closes.

You receiveWeekly progress notes, a handover walk-through and a set of as-built photos.

  5. Stage 05

    Aftercare and seasonal calendar

We hand over a maintenance calendar built around your garden's own rhythm: spring cutbacks, summer irrigation checks, autumn mulching and winter protection.

You receiveA seasonal task calendar plus optional visits by our maintenance team.

Plants installed by our team carry a one-year replacement guarantee, excluding neglect and storm damage. Maintenance outcomes vary with the season and the weather, so the calendar is a guide rather than a promise. Full details and pricing sit on our pricing and transparency section, and questions are welcome at our contact form.

Pricing

Estimates, not flat packages

We price each garden after a site visit, because soil, slope, access and existing planting change the work more than the size of the plot does. The written estimate shows labour, materials, plant stock and machine hours as separate lines, so nothing is bundled into a figure you cannot question.

Included in every estimate

  • Site survey, level readings and sun and wind notes
  • Scaled layout drawing with planting scheme and pathway lines
  • Labour, topsoil, drainage and hard-landscaping materials
  • Plant stock list with species, size and quantity per item
  • Waste removal and final site cleanup
  • Seasonal maintenance recommendations for the first year

What can move the figure

  • Buried foundations, old concrete or builder rubble found during excavation
  • Steep terracing that needs retaining walls or extra soil reinforcement
  • Nursery availability: specimen plants priced at the date of supply
  • Irrigation runs longer than the surveyed zone plan
  • Client-requested changes after the layout drawing is approved

Approved changes are sent as a written revision before any extra work starts. You agree it or we stop.

Questions we answer before the first spade

Scope, guarantees and upkeep, in plain terms.

We walk the site with you, check soil, drainage, light and existing trees, then agree on how you want to use the garden. You receive a fixed-fee proposal and a scaled layout sketch within five working days.

Still unsure about scope or cost? Send us your garden details and we will answer directly.

Next step
